As of January 1, 2012 I decided to temporarily deactivate Young Real Estate. Should I decide to reactivate the company I will announce it on this website. I am still actively selling real estate in Montana under Heart of Montana Realty.

The market in Gallatin County, MT has been quite robust the first two months of January. I have had a lot of interest in my listings and sold my one residential listing in the town of Manhattan. Manhattan has seen a lot of homes under $200,000 sell already this year.

Updated second quarter real estate statistics for Gallatin County, Montana were released recently as were the figures nationwide for the month of April.  I will first deal with the stats from Gallatin County, MT.

Did you see the recent news from the real estate information company, Zillow?  It isn't pretty.  Average home prices are down 8% from last year and are dropping nationwide about 1% each month.
